| Brominating of the Polyrosin and the Research of the Fire-Retardant Properties |

| Abstract：Polyrosin reacts with bromine to produce the brominated polyrosin. This is an addition reaction accompanied with the substitution reaction. Brominated polyrosin was easy to eliminate the hydrobromic acid. We have determined the brominated polyrosin infrared spectroscopy and differential thermal curve. Brominated polyrosin does not burn itself. With bromintaed polyrosin, a coating can be made with fire retardant properties. |
