| Abstract：Based on current situation of global water environment deterioration, shortage of sustainable water resources and high energy consumption of existing water treatment technology, the economy, generality and broad market prospects of membrane technology for water treatment are pointed out. The classification and mechanism of membrane, performance and application areas, and future development direction of membrane materials are introduced in detail. |
